Bright ID

Bright ID is a social identity network that proves a person's uniqueness by authenticating their connections with others in the Social Graph. It ensures that individuals cannot have multiple accounts and verifies their connections with acquaintances. Interestingly, it only requires a photo and name for authentication, eliminating the need for personal information like birthdates and addresses.

There are several Authentication Methods available. One method involves scanning a QR code, which presents options such as "I know this person," "Just met this person," or "Suspicious." It is also possible to create groups and connect with multiple people simultaneously. To prevent fraudulent activity, both parties must provide the same answers, guaranteeing that they are indeed human.

Bright ID has been used in conjunction with Gitcoin authentication, Idena, and Proof of Humanity as a Use Case. One user mentioned on Twitter that they found it challenging to complete the authentication process for Gitcoin, Bright ID, Idena, and Proof of Humanity, but they managed to overcome the hurdles.
